1. Have you ever felt like God had failed you? Describe the situation in detail and where
you are in the process of that event.
2. Paul uses such powerful language in Romans chapter 9. How does that language move
and or challenge you?
3. When you come to the realization that through mercy God chose you, how does that
change the way you see God’s character and nature? Do you have greater gratitude
for His mercy?
4. Describe your struggle in keeping God as the center of your life? What fears and
uncertainties are warring for that place in your life at this moment?
