Day Four

LORD, we recognize that we live in a duality of waiting and resting. We are anticipating your return, fasting and praying to quicken your coming, and we are resting in your finished work that you accomplished in the Cross through the biblical command of Sabbath. We pray that you would return, and make all things new, and we pray that we would be able to rest in what you have already done in the midst of a world that is filled with unrest, anxious toil, and chaos. Come quickly, Lord Jesus.
