Lord, help me to respond to the gift of Jesus Christ just as the wise men did- to rejoice exceedingly with great joy, falling down in worship. As I remember the expectant waiting for Christ on this Christmas Eve, help me to never grow numb to the gift of your son, remembering the miracle of his birth, life, death, and resurrection. Lord Jesus, you deserve joyous praise forevermore.
